3 New Things at LEGOLAND California in 2016
You can always count on new additions to Miniland, new LEGO shows and new attractions at LEGOLAND Calfornia. This year is extra special for my boys because they added a whole new section of the park dedicated to LEGO Ninjago!
LEGO Ninjago World
LEGO Ninjago World is an all new area of the park featuring interactive activities, shopping, food and of course a new ride! Ninjago the Ride is an interactive 4D ride that allows guests to battle the Great Devourer.

You might even run into Kai for a quick meet & greet. We also saw him during the opening ceremony when the park opened. Check out the video below for a quick look at all the fun LEGO Ninjago World has to offer.
TMOM Tip – LEGOLAND turnstiles and select attractions open at 9 a.m. on select days. Ninjago World is usually one of the select attractions open early. Arrive at 9 a.m. to catch the opening ceremony and get a jump start on fun before the park gets crowded.
LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™: The Book of Creativity
Get ready for an all new 4D film playing exclusively at LEGOLAND! Enter the 4D kingdom of Knighton with Merlok 2.0 and join the heroic NEXO KNIGHTS as they battle it out against the evil Jestro and the Book of Monsters!
You can also catch Emmet and Wyldstyle in their latest adventure in 4D. The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure follows the pair along with familiar friends on an adventure as they travel to a new theme park where all of the rides are based on the characters’ adventures in “The LEGO Movie.” And of course, there is an evil plot they have to foil!

LEGO Freedom Tower: One World Trade Center
Opening just in time for the 4th of July, check out One World Trade Center in Miniland. It’s the tallest building made of LEGO brick in North America!
Don’t miss the other fun things to do at LEGOLAND this summer! I think LEGOLAND is suited for kids from preschool to middle school but kids of all ages (and the young at heart) will love staying at the LEGOLAND hotel. It’s a splurge but worth it at least once!
