Visiting Santa Claus at this workshop in the North Pole is much easier than you think, at least if you are close to Northern Arizona! The North Pole Experience offers tours of Santa’s 400 year old North Pole workshop via a special portal located near Flagstaff, Arizona. Caroling elves help navigate the portal magic and within 15 minutes of departure, you arrive at Santa’s wonderland.TMOM Travel Disclosure

We’ve visited Santa’s workshop for the past 2 years and both of my boys (now 4 1/2 and 7) love the experience. In fact they have already asked if we are going again this year. Check out my video below for a sneak peek of the fun you will find at the North Pole Experience.

North Pole Experience Tickets

I recommend booking a daytime trolley to save money or if you have little ones. It’s a really exciting experience that might be hard for little kids to handle close to bedtime. The only difference is the outdoor Christmas lights at Santa’s workshop. If you time your trolley right, you can get the day time discount but still see the fun lights as you leave Santa’s workshop. Each tour includes private time with Santa at the end of your visit and a picture to take home. Keep in mind the North Pole Experience is very popular. Some dates are already sold out and others are selling out quickly. I recommend buying tickets as soon as possible to secure your ideal day and time.

North Pole Experience Accommodations

The Little America hotel is home to the North Pole Experience trolley stop and hosts a breakfast with Santa each morning. It would be the most convenient place to stay for your visit to the North Pole Experience. However, there are a few other hotels close by including the Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard by Marriott.
