Are you looking for a RunDisney Hotel option at the Disneyland Resort? I recently completely my first RunDisney event, the Star Wars 10k at the Disneyland resort. I found the Anaheim Marriott offered many conveniences for RunDisney participants,including a shuttle right out front, a Starbucks for early mornings and very comfortable beds!
Accommodations
We stayed in a Deluxe Double guest room and found it to be very spacious. All rooms include new mattresses and luxurious bedding, making them extremely comfortable and perfect after a long day in the parks or long run through the parks. The size of the room also accommodated a large work desk and oversized chair.

Amenities
The hotel recently completely a $15 million renovation and it shows from the lobby to the guest rooms. The lobby was large and contemporary with plenty of seating style options. The lobby was a popular gathering place for guests and visitors throughout the day and late into the evening.
The technology geek in me loved the digital elevator controls, although I was a little confused by the lack of floor buttons inside the elevators at first. Disneyland Resort Park Hoppers are available for purchase in the lobby as well as ART shuttle passes to the park. Personally I’m not usually fan of shuttles but we were provided free shuttles passes as RunDisney participants and my feet were quite happy about that. Our shuttle experience was great and I would recommend it for those that prefer not to walk to the parks.

Dining
The renovations include a new dining option, the nFuse Bar & Kitchen. The nFuse Bar & Kitchen is perfect for business meetings and social gatherings offering hand crafted cocktails and California cuisine with a variety of seating options. For families that like to grab and go, a Pizza Hut and Starbucks are also on site. I found that the hotel gift shop offered a variety of snack options as well.
One of the budget friendly aspects of Disneyland is variety of hotel choices within walking distance. With the super comfortable beds and convenient shuttle for those that want it, the Anaheim Marriott definitely makes for a great RunDisney hotel option. Next time I’ll try the hotel on a family trip with my kids!
